The documentary explores the fears Leitham wrestled with as she rose through the ranks of the jazz world, and celebrates the joy she discovered after embracing her female identity.
In addition to the screening of I STAND CORRECTED, the evening will include a panel discussion entitled “The Myths and Misunderstandings of Being Trans,” and after the screening, there will be a live performance by the Jennifer Leitham Trio.
