For the very first time, the Dickens classic GREAT EXPECTATIONS will be staged in London’s West End, and audiences around the world will be able to share the historic opening night experience at their local theater. Although Great Expectations has been adapted for film on two separate occasions, once by David Lean in 1946 and most recently by Mike Newell, it has never been produced for The West End or Broadway, widely believed to be too difficult to translate to stage. Stephen Sondheim’s “Company” – Coming to Camelot Theatres!

Dates: August 28th at 2:00 PM and August 30th @ 7:00 PM

Following five couples and their friend Robert (Neil Patrick Harris), the perpetual bachelor, Company explores the true meaning of being in a relationship through a series of vignettes. Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Rent) leads a star-studded cast which includes Patti LuPone, Stephen Colbert, Jon Cryer, Christina Hendricks, Craig Bierko and Martha Plimpton.

Company’s plot revolves around Bobby (a single man unable to commit fully to a steady relationship, let alone marriage), the five married couples who are his best friends, and his three girlfriends. It’s a concept musical composed of short vignettes, presented in no particular chronological order, linked by a celebration for Bobby’s 35th birthday.

Camelot Theatres to present two exclusive screenings of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera and its long awaited hit sequel Love Never Dies!

June 29, 2012, Palm Springs, CA – Camelot Theatres, in association with SpectiCast and OmniVerse Vision, announced today that it plans to present two exclusive screenings of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary classic The Phantom of the Opera as well as its long awaited hit sequel, Love Never Dies.

The production of The Phantom of the Opera, which was filmed in the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London, is the 25th anniversary production of what has become Broadway’s longest-running show. The production features over 200 cast members, orchestra musicians and luminaries involved with The Phantom of the Opera over the past 25 years.

Love Never Dies, based on the book by Ben Elton, is the hit sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, and follows the characters as they traverse 19th century New York City. The fully-staged production of Love Never Dies was filmed at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia and features a lush 21-person orchestra. With soaring musical scores and lavish costumes and sets, both productions will be a treat for the senses.
