Palm Springs Student Short Film Fesitval

Mission Statement:

The Palm Springs Student Short Film Festival is a student produced festival that opens a pathway to our youngest local filmmakers to showcase their film work in their home community while offering our community a “first look” at the creative and artistic riches in our own backyard.

Project Overview:

Each year, students from more than twenty Coachella Valley High Schools and middle Schools are invited to submit films to the Palm Springs Student Short Film Festival. The original creators of the Palm Springs Student Short Festival Anna and Nora Hammond have both moved on to college. High School students Alex Mandinach and Jonathan Phung have eagerly taken the reins for the Palm Springs Student Short Film Festival.

All donations are tax deductible through The Arts Institute at Palm Springs High School, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts. Donations can be designated specifically so they go to prize money for the students in the Palm Springs Student Short Film Festival. Please email us for more information and for a donation form or download and print the form.
